Performance Training

This session is our dedicated time for all things that will enhance your paddling performance.

We will be working on your land based, paddling specific strength and conditioning and interval blocks to support your speed and endurance padding performance.

You will be encouraged to understand your training zones, find your “digits” and work your technique and strategy for performance paddling.

Expect to work hard in an encouraging environment.

The session is split into 2 sections:

1st: Land Based Strength & Conditioning - Approx 45mins

2nd: Time Trial / Intervals - Speed work, personal time trials, intervals & monthly races  - Approx 1hr 15min

Is this for me? 

Suitable for all. You must be a confident paddler and have demonstrated your ability to perform a self rescue on a previous session. You may get more from this session if you have attended our Skills, Progression or Interval Sessions.

When?

Mondays 6:30pm - 8:30pm: Colwick Park

Thursdays 6:30pm - 8:30pm: Beeston Heritage Centre
